We have partnered with the Fremont Area Community Foundation to accept applications for the First State Bank & Trust Company Hometown Support Scholarship. Just go to http://www.facfoundation.org/scholarships/ to apply.
The Fremont Area Community Foundation utilizes an online application system called AwardSpring to accept scholarship applications. The portal is available from February 1st to April 1st each year. If you are considered eligible, you will automatically be included in the applicant pool for the Hometown Support Scholarship.
The First State Bank & Trust Company Hometown Career Support Scholarship is funded by First State Bank & Trust Company. It was created to help those outstanding and talented students who plan to attend a post-secondary vocational, trade or technical school in Nebraska or Midland University. We hope it will help to supply skilled persons to the Fremont area, reducing shortages in our local labor supply. The scholarship has a two part benefit. It provides funds for tuition, books and board and room during the learning years and a 12 month financial benefit should you decide to work for a Fremont area firm upon earning your degree.
Seniors at Blair Public School, Arlington Public School and Fort Calhoun Public School are invited to apply for a Hometown Scholarship
Scholarship applications are available at the guidance office of each of these schools in the spring. Please complete the application and submit to the bank or your guidance office prior to April 1st. These scholarship are awarded to help those outstanding and talented students who plan to attend post-secondary schools after graduation. Scholarships are awarded in each community that we receive applications.
